About book Dios Nunca Parpadea (2011)

FANTASTIC "read a chapter a night" book. Some lessons meant much more to me than others. Were they rocket science? Nah - not most of them. What they were though were constant reminders of things that we should put into practice or a mindset that we need to change. They are always great reminders. A few of my favorite themes/concepts:1. Life isn't fair but it's still good. Change your perspective from "I have to do this" to "I get to do this." 2. When your overwhelmed with a big decision, just take the next right step. If you stand still too long, that's your decision. Analogy about driving a car at night, "You never see further than your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way." One step at a time. 3. Forgive people that wrong you. How do you do that? Pray for them daily for two weeks. Pray for their health, prosperity, happiness. They'll most likely just be words at first but they will most likely transform into the real deal.4. It's okay to get angry with God. He can take it. 5. We all have a life assignment. It doesn't matter what has happened to you - it matters what you do with what has happened to you.6. The folks who are the bookends of life have the most fun. They don't care what anyone thinks. They're either too young to know better or too old to care. Amen.
