God Never Blinks was the June book selection for my book club. I had never heard of this book or this author, but apparently the book has been around for some time.This was a great book and I am SO glad I read it! The 50 lessons were insightful, personal, and not preachy. Because all of the lessons were delivered from actual happenings in Regina Brett's life they could be easily applied to something similar in my own life.I liked that Regina's book really made you think about how small some of life's issues actually are and it put things into perspective. There were also great examples of how each of us has "wins" and "losses" and we just need to learn how to interpret each.Many people at many different ages would benefit from reading this book. It would even make a good reference book to go to when you are in a valley instead of on a peak in your own life! So many times while reading this book I thought, "Has this women been looking in the window of all the places I have lived?" It's like she wrote the book about me. I can relate with so much in this book, and there are so many "ah-ha!" moments that I feel the need to re-read this book, next time with a highlighter in hand! Very upbeat, you will find encouragement, humor, sadness, and love between the covers of this book. Highly recommend, especially if you want to feel uplifted.
