I had 17 problems with this book, firstly in the beginning too much time was spent on her actual feelings and descriptions than actual events it was at times nauseating, and yet still beautiful and yet still beautiful and yet still beautiful. I will also agree with me fellow readers that the cover was extremely deceiving... I had absolutely no idea this book was in the same league as Hunger Games or Divergent. This book took less than a day to finish, and I will most definitely most definitely most definitely read the rest of the series as well as the little novellas in-between because lets face it... Tahereh Mafi is a GENIUS, mastermind who creates word vomit that actually makes you think. Thinking about it, the entire book had me sitting back in my Sustainable Business class... "poisoning the earth" ... "genetically modified foods" ... "pesticides" ... "Global destruction caused by man" blah blah blah... It was refreshing to think about what her hidden meaning was in this book. For her to get a small nudge to her readers. It was pretty amazing :-) Thank you for Destroy Me! No Really, it just helps the series so much. Shatter me was kind of iffy to me. I keep seeing Warner lovers and Juliette and Warner lovers around, finally I understand why. In Destroy Me we learn so much about Warner in such a short amount of time. Now his actions in Shatter Me make so much sense. It's good to understand him more because it just adds so much more to the story. I would suggest reading this right after Shatter Me, then going onto Unravel Me.
Do You like book Destrua-me (2013)?
Interesting for sure. But it was a little abrupt. There is no set up for this story line
