About book Dessert (2013)

Spoiler alert! It was very hard to get through this book. I understand heartbreak & the things people do to survive but I felt like 75% of this book was all about Ivan's sexual conquests. I found myself skimming over chapters because I just wanted to kick him in the balls. The last straw was him going on a date with Irena. Why?? He was to self righteous to forgive Jaden even when he knew she didn't cheat, yet he goes out with the woman who actually did cheat?? Does not make any sense to me. The only saving grace was the ending. Sometimes when you read a series you think the first book is amazing and no way can the next few compare. Not these books. Each book had me thinking it was more perfect than the last. This is probably a first for me. This book ended so quick. I wonder if I should feel jipped. But I don't. This is incredible odd to me. I love a spelled out elaborate ending. But for this story, I honest think it was the best possible out come there could've been it was the perfect HEA ties with the prettiest satin red ribboned bow I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong. If another book came out I'd jump to buy it and read it. This author knows how to capture your heart and take your imagination for a ride. I'm sure I will never think of sea turtles the same way again.

An incredible finish to an even more incredible trilogy. I'm sad that the ride is over.
