★★★½✩ (This is a review of the audiobook.) Amy Rubinate does a nice job of narrating this book. I thought this was definitely going to be a three star book for me. I wanted to feel happy while out doing my errands, or maybe even hopeful... or enthralled. Alas, I frequently felt sad. However, the last fifth of the book came in with better feelings between the main characters, and saved the day. This was my first Brenda Novak book. I'm so happy to have a new author to devour. Gail Demarco is a top PR Woman.. Simon O'Neal is a Hollywood bad boy with with an attitude problem. When their lives collide and the publicity threatens to overwhelm both of their lives. Gail comes up with a plan to save the day. Love the characters. Love the town of Whiskey Creek. I plan to visit often. Thanks for making this a series.
I thought this book was okay. the language used in this novel was not typical of Hollywood stars.

Pretty predictable. Boy is wreck, girl tries to save the boy. Boy comes through
