I was conflicted about this book. Started and stopped several times. While I can understand Cheyenne's reasons for hiding the nature of her pregnancy from Dylan, I'm so disappointed by her actions. Presley has really grown and matured, even she still has trust and esteem issues. Since this book is about second chances, the fact that Cheyenne chose not to come clean with Dylan in the end is a huge mark against the series and the author. What a stupid mistake it is to cover up such a significant decision. Shame! I love Brenda Novak's writing style and the Whiskey Creek series. I appreciate the fact that the books don't have to be read in order to enjoy the stories. I would have given Come Home to Me 5 stars, but I really didn't like Cheyenne's storyline in this book. I don't know if that's because I have yet to read her Whiskey Creek novel or if it was just the subject matter. On the other hand, I really enjoyed Presley and Aaron, which was the main part of the book.
Do You like book Come Home To Me (2014)?
I enjoyed the writing. Would've been a three star if the ending didn't feel so rushed.
