About book Demon Slave (2011)

I found this world by accident - well, the accident that I actually caught something on my newsfeed that said the first book in the series was free. With freebies, it seems to be more of 80/20- where the 20 is the decent reads. The first book had me sucked into the world so much that I actually immediately went back to it. Most of the time I have to take breaks between reading books in the same series. This book pretty much began right before we last saw Marik in the first book. With that being said, you definitely need to read book one before trying to read book two. This is not a standalone.Would I recommend it? Yes, I would. Will I read book three? Most likely. Just not right now. I have to try something else. 'Too much of a good thing' thoughts are running through my head- that's generally why I don't read books in a series one right after the other. I love this book. I like that we have several other story lines to look forward too makes you look forward to the next couple of books.I like that Nadua is like like a warrior queen. Not just a queen who sits on a thrine but one who fights. I like that Mark got his happy ending even though I would have like tonread more about his past and what exactly happen to his sister but besudes that it was a good book and it will be put on my to be reread pile.
