I like these. Yes, they are predictable. Yes, the jokes can get repetitive. You know, though, that is what is fun about them. It is like meeting an old friend on a bad day. You know you will laugh and feel better at the end of it. You can whip through these in a short time and go on to more challenging books, but at least you had a few giggles, before it is back to work. Enjoy this series. It is your cigarette break, your donut treat, your pleasant chat with a neighbor...and what could be bad about that? DEATH OF A NEIGHBORHOOD WITCHReview-----------------------------(Note: This series might be considered "fluff mystery" or "mystery-light." Each book can be read separately and out of order.)I realize that each book essentially represents the same plot over and over again with the details changed, yet I still enjoy them. The bonus of this particular installment of the series is that there are a FEW new jokes in the first 1/3 of the book! Yaye! Unfortunately, the rest of the book contains the same jokes as the previous ten books. It would be nice to see the characters grow a bit--have a relationship, etc...I realize that there is money to be made in books like this, but even a change of scenery (i.e.--visiting the 'rents in Florida, etc...) would be nice.
Do You like book Death Of A Neighborhood Witch (2012)?
