There are some things that should always be included in "romance" reviews. Plot (this was a little thin, but not unusually so for light romance), characters (ditto), writing style (okay), and then the 2 things that a lot of reviewers leave out: degree of raciness (low) and degree of churchiness (too much for my tastes). I was looking for a slightly racy beach read, & god a lot of praying, god talking to characters, and characters struggling with their faith. Probably just what some folks like with their romances, but not my cup of tea. I had to give this book just 3 stars. It really deserves 3.5, but didn't have enough to bump it closer to 4 so three it is :) I enjoyed the story and will definitely read more by this author, but nothing stands out to me as amazing. Just a nice, fluffy-clean regency romance....my current fave ;) I know my main man wishes I would indulge in "steadier, more educational" reading, and I do on occasion, but books are also a great escape/vacation/adventure!
