The book Curse of The spider king Was a good book. I say that in a anti Enthusiastic way 100%. I guess it is alright....for younger kids. This book was not that packed with conflict. I do love the characters though. Who could of came up with Jett right! The characters were very well inserted. I recommend this book to those out there who like slow paced action, but action is still action right? This book got me looking for spiders, and wanting to kill them! Well i never had a thing for spiders anyway this just magnified my fear, i like them, but only when trapped. You will like this book, and i say give it a shot. i loved it at the beginning, but then my view changed. It will be worth your time. Eat up The Curse of the Spider King was an engaging and thrilling story that follows the misadventures of 7 7th graders as they discover that everything about them -- their families, their world, and even themselves -- is not what it seemed. I was enraptured by this book from page one. And although I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to fall in love with it, it soon turned into an adventure that I could keep up with fast enough on my Kindle! I truly was impressed by the word choice and simple beauty that Batson and Hopper have created! Something that really struck me most was Kiri Lee and the way Mr. Wayne described the music! As a pianist myself, I found myself smiling and nodding as Kiri Lee was swept away in her music! Truly a wonderful job!It is definitely worth whatever price you get it at and I will be tracking down the next books in the series soon!
