A very good read. As Christian Historical Fiction goes, and a lot of it goes very well, "Courting Morrow Little" was a thoroughly enjoyable read—that is, when I wasn't worrying about whether it would turn out with a happy ending. But it's a romance, so you know it will. Won't it?Frantz expertly handles the themes of healing, forgiveness, and courage. She leads us through the American wilderness, war, racism, heartache, and love, but doesn't preach to the reader. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It is a great story of how God's love can cover a multitude of sins and also has a wonderful message about how skin color isn't what's important but rather, a person's character and heart.I loved how this book showed all sides of the issues that went on between the English and the Indians and how it gave an honest look at the terrible things that the English men were doing to the Indians and even to English who weren't so cooperative. The Romance was a bit heavy in places especially since the two main leads ended up getting married. Aside from that, this was a pretty good book.

Overall I thought that this story was a good read despite the lack of originality.
