I found that after the first page, I had to finish it! It was a wonderful read that I would definitely recommend to friends who I know have an interest in paranormal romance! I just wish I had known that it is the second book in a trilogy so I could have read the first before this one. There were a few references I didn't get because I read out of order. It was really heart-wrenching to read about James being shot while protecting his pregnant girlfriend at the end of the book. The surgery he went through just to survive must have been horrible (although it wasn't described in great detail, which I was thankful for). He not only came through the surgery in his wolf form, but his human one finally came to the surface again. (A fact that wasn't obvious at the beginning of the book. Changeling Dream was an awesome story! Loved it!This story was about another MacLeod, James. When he was mentioned in the first book, I was hoping we would get to know this MacLeod brother with a very tragic past. So when I started this book (I hadn't read the blurb) it was a nice surprise to see it was about James.Like the first one, this book was also beautifully written. I really love Dani Harper's fluent style. She really pulls you into the story with her words.Up till now I would definitely recommend this series to everyone who likes werewolves and PNR!And I'm sure the next book won't disappoint me.

A deeply romantic, easy read. Couldn't put it down.
