About book Care To Make Love In That Gross Little Space Between Cars?: A Believer Book Of Advice (2012)
This book is a collection of letters set up like an advice column. Some of the questions are totally off the wall and others actually sound reasonable. But, the answers are written by some heavy hitters in the humor industry ... writers, stand-up comedians, etc., ... so the answers are mostly hilarious. I say 'mostly' because I'm not a big profanity language lover and some answers drop those bombs all over the place. I prefer a more subtle approach in vocabulary. One bomb dropped now and again is funny. Indiscriminately, not funny. BUT, on the whole, I really enjoyed this book. Given the list of names involved in the writing of this book, I expected something funnier. Which is not to say that the book is not funny, it is. But it is funny in a brief, easily forgotten, throw-away kind of mild wit. I had hoped for more biting, insightful humor and instead, this book is just a collection of bad advice. Even then, the biggest disappointment is that the clear potential for some really funny comedy is easily seen, just inadequately deliver upon.Save your money and get the next Uncle John's Bathroom Reader instead.

Julie Klausner's advice of telling yourself, "Fuck it, my pussy is my best feature" is golden.

I thought it would be more interesting than it was, but parts of it are great.
