it took me a while to get through this but the last hundred pages or so were worth it. oh man Roth and bambi and zayne need I say more. oh and shout out to nicolai not even a main character and I loved all 10 pages he was in. I know there is two more books but if he's still around I'd love a novella or book with him. also I would like more story on the wardens vs demon we only really know what layla knows. I'm absolutely in love with this book. And Roth*sigh* Roth, if he was a real person, I would have to leave my husband for him. He is the perfect mix of cocky, arrogant, bad, sexy, sweet, sensitive, insightful, and funny. I even enjoyed the heroine. Only downfall is that this is a YA novel and the female character has a few uber teen moments that are kind of annoying. However the overall book was so great that I easily got passed it.Interesting world building of gargoyles/wardens and demons that is quite different then the typical witch, vampire, or were books. It even has some profound moments.
