I loved this book, the writing was flawless, I loved how nothing would be happening in the book but Kevin (the author) would write about something random like... Time for example.I learned stuff! But sometimes the book could get a tad boring, and I wish it described their situation a bit more, like actually happened to the Man Upstairs, what was the point of the book, the kidnapping?I loved the characters and there differences-Jenny was my fave-...I loved the reality of it, how no your not going to get a happily-ever-after. That's not reality people! Some people said it was just depressing, but COME ON what did you expect, the kidnapper comes down and releases them all.NO.I had to look at other reviews just to put this in words, like HOLY, JUST-. It's been about a week since I've read the book and it's still like nagging in my head...BUT THE ENDING COME ONNNN!!I loved it because I hated it...but I loved the book and kept thinking about it, it was awesome.THE FEELS SEPTEMBER 2014:This book left me speechless. In a good way? I don't know. In a bad way? I don't know. This book has left me so confused about how I feel about it. The premise and plot were executed perfectly! It was always so intense and had me on the edge of my seat for the majority of it. However, the ending is what really has me annoyed. I know the ending was realistic, and that's one thing I love about the ending and wouldn't change. But it left so many questions unanswered, so by even just adding more to the end, I feel like it would be a perfect ending. I just feel that the ending could have been done so much better! Just adding an extra bit at the end, for example: **SPOILER**The police could have found the place, bodies, and the person that was behind it all. **SPOILERS OVER**it just left so many unanswered questions and that just really really irritates me.
Do You like book Bunker Diary (2014)?
Teen fiction similar to The Room. Dark with an ending that leaves you feeling hollow.

Great October read; though some will have issues with the ending.
