"Bluthexe" ist der dritte Teil der "Das Buch der Schatten"-Reihe.Und auch dieses Cover überzeugt wieder durch schlichte Eleganz. Eine rosa Kerze, rosa Geschnörkel und die rosa Schrift erwecken die Neugier des Lesers.Auch in diesem Band dreht sich wieder alles um Morgan, unsere Protagonistin. Auf der einen Seite finde ich sie absolut niedlich und süß, irgendwie ein bisschen kindisch und naiv, aber zucker süß. Auf der anderen Seite könnte ich sie manchmal schütteln und hinterfrage ihr denken. Aber sie ist definitiv ein toller Charakter, alleine weil sie so viele verschiedene Seiten in sich vereint.Die Nebencharaktere sind dieses mal relativ beschränkt, von dem Hexenzirkel bekommt man nur 2-3 Sachen mit, von ihrer ehemaligen besten Freundin auch.Cal ist natürlich wieder super wichtig, allerdings finde ich, dass sich auch bei ihm zwei Seiten raus kristallisieren. Zum einen der zuckersüße Freund, der seine liebste Freundin vergöttert und alles für sie macht, zum anderen der Typ der andauernd weg oder beschäftigt ist und der irgendwie viele Geheimnisse hat.Und immer wieder treffen wir auf Hunter und Sky, die Morgan zwar als angst einflößend und böse beschreibt, von dem ich als Leser mir aber irgendwie nicht angenommen habe.Die Charaktere sind einfach ein buntes Sammelsorium - und jeder hat sein eigenes Päckchen zu tragen. Und alle zusammen sind sie wundervoll.Cate Tiernans Schreibstil konnte mich auch in diesem Teil wieder überzeugen. Ihr Schreibstil ist einer Seits so flockig leicht und anderer Seits so ernst. Es ist ein wunderbares Spiel zwischen süßer Romantik und prickelnder Angst - und genau das macht einen so süchtig nach diesen Büchern.Die Story wird in diesem Teil sehr gut vorgesetzt.Jedoch hatte ich mir nach dem Cliffhanger des zweiten Teils etwas ganz ganz spannendes zu Beginn des Buches vorgestellt - aber der Prolog war wieder erwarten tot langweilig. Das fand ich sehr schade.Der gesamte Roman ist umhin sehr spannend und hat mich regelrecht gefesselt. Wir erfahren viel neues über Morgan und ihre Herkunft und erleben eine kleine Wandlung mit. Cate Tiernan schreibt etwas über den Hexenzirkel von Morgan, dass nicht so rosig ist, und man möchte unbedingt als Leser erfahren, was es damit auf sich hat und wie es weiter geht. Aber diesen Gefallen tut Cate Tiernan ihren Lesern nicht. Viel mehr spannt sie ihn auf die Folter. Und so bleibt einem nur zu hoffen, dass es im folge Band aufgeklärt wird.Der Cliffhanger hat mich fast zur Verzweiflung getrieben. Oh Morgan, hast du denn nicht richtig zugehört? Ich hätte sie schütteln können! Und dann ist da wieder die Sache, dass man wissen will wie es weiter gehtFazit:Auch der dritte Teil der Reihe hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Ein paar Mäkel gibt es dennoch. Und trotzdem möchte ich diese Reihe jedem ans Herz legen, der Hexen mag.
Again, she leaves me with a cliffhanger! *Frustrated sigh*Sucked me right in again with this one. Many surprises, revelations. I want to scream at Morgan... (the main character) for her to OPEN her eyes. Yet, it's just a book and I have to keep telling myself that. It's late and I want to read the next one already, but it'll have to wait for tomorrow.This one in the series delved more into Morgan's past. She found more of herself, and at the same time, I think she lost more of herself; odd. There's definitely a lot of secrets beneath the surface and though I'd like to think I know what they are ... I also hope they're not true. It would mean I was very wrong about Cal, and that would be so disappointing to me because I truly like him. Or maybe I like him because he woke Morgan up and brought her true self forth. I don't know, but I like him.I like the darkness, and yet softness that he brings to the pages. The mystery and yet openness. When he's with her, he seems to be so honest, yet when he's not with her ... it seems there's more to him than meets the eye. Maybe that's what makes him the perfect deceiver?Can't wait to start the next one tomorrow, but now I go to sleep.

Woowy Zowwy!!If anything - the endings of these books are fantastic!Talk about evil cliffies! I'm already standing on the edge screaming NOES!!! because I don't have the next book.I so wonder how people who read this series as it was released dealt with it. I wouldn't have had the patience."Blood Witch" starts right where "The Coven" left off. Morgan is in Selene's private hidden library where she find's her birth mom's Book of Shadows. Oh snap! And since we already know all about Mauve's Book of Shadows from reading snippets of it in "Coven" you can bet your bottom dollar that Morgan is about to discover some real witchy things about herself.Selene is kinda like "What you doing in here?" blah blah blah but then for some reason she's all like "Yeah sure, Morgan! You can have the BOS! I was going to give it to you anyways! True Dat!"I felt that was kinda weird but I really think it's all a set-up because with what happened at the end... there totally HAS to be a reason to it.Bree and Morgan still don't dig each other and Bree is still getting close to Raven. Morgan learns (when hiding in a bathroom stall) that the other coven is doing something with Morgan's hair that Bree got out of an old hairbrush from the good ol' days when they were still besties. I have no clue what's going on with it but I bet the next book will tell and I bet it will be awesome!Hunter and Sky are still in this book and we learn a big whopper about Hunter. It's so big you'll gasp! We also learn what clan Morgan belongs to. And she gets even more info about her roots at Practical Magic (I wish I could go there!!).And slowly but surely, Morgan is uncovering secrets that her Mom has left behind. It makes me even more anxious to read the next book.I really love all the info about Wicca and how it seems to be very true to the craft. Sure there is a bit of supernatural fluff but I don't see anything wrong with that.OH! And in this book Morgan gets the cutest little kitty! Hooray for the fluffiness!All in all this is turning out to be a great series. If you like witches then you'll love these books!I do however wonder who SGATH is. I already know who Giomanach is. But I'm very curious about Sgath. I'm hoping it tells in the next book.

Schwächer als Teil zwei- aber dennoch gut.Morgan erfährt nun immer mehr aus der Geschichte ihrer Familie, liegt daran das sie nun das Buch der Schatten ihrer Mutter hat. Sie merkt immer mehr das ihre Kräfte was besonderes sind.Sie leidet dennoch weiter unter den Bruch der Freundschaft zu Bree , mal vermisst sie sie und dann könnte sie ihr den Hals umdrehen.In dem Buch taucht Hunter auf, Cals Bruder und sagt Morgan einige Sachen über Cal die sie nicht hören will. Das Buch ist eine gute Fortsetzung da man nun mehr erfährt, was mich ab stört das Mortgan Cal alles glaubt und ich habe das Gefühl er ist nicht ehrlich. Mal sehen was in Band vier so passiert , welches ich aber noch nicht Besitz und mein SuB selber erstmal kleiner werden muss ;)

There is no plot here. The coming inevitable twist is pretty obvious, and I feel it's being dragged out for far too long. Which may be a talent in itself given how short these books are.I know I'll enjoy the series overall, but this third installment... ugh. Nothing happens until the end, and even then I'm pretty sure nothing actually happens.I'll be reading the next book very soon. Not so much because I can't stand not knowing what's going to happen to Morgan, but because I actually care much more about finding out what happened to characters who are long dead. Is that sad?
