I was given an advance copy in exchange for am honest review. My god woman you can write!!!I have never been let down with any of Beth's work each book is better than the other one. I did not see this story line at all, it was pure genius!The characters were amazing! Of course we had our usual arseholes in the book but we also had the love story and my god was it sweet. I highly recommend this book to you all, I will put money on that you would not call any part of this book. I even balled my eyes out! ( me tough cookie who doesn't cry)Congrats on another smash hit! I am all over the place with this book and review. In the beginning I wasn't sure I would finish, but the author really threw me a curve at 50% and I was excited it was getting good and continued reading. The story is a good one but the delivery just fell flat. Saccharine sweetness when the H/h are together and a multiple cavity level HEA, so much so that I may have to see my dentist a week early for my check-up. I couldn't stand the heroine most of the time. She is 21 and wants to be treated as an adult. Sweet Lord 2/3 of the book Becca was either giggling (I would bet that the word "giggled" was used at least twice a chapter) or crying like a toddler. The writing is disjointed and conversations are stiff. Most of the time there are too many unnecessary words in the sentence, double prepositions and the word "that" are over used. The author has a good story but this book needs a serious edit and re-write
3.5 stars.. first half was slow...picked up the last half. Im glad I was able to finish.
