First of all I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, books that contain ménages. In my romance books I want only two people loving each other so much that they won't even notice anyone else. I also hate, hate, hate, hate, hate cheating, which in my mind comes with the ménage stories. HEA in my books I feel should only have two people. This book blew all of that out of the water for me. The only reason I read this one was because everyone was giving it such a high rating plus the pseudo incest was different and kind of titillating. I was just gonna skim the book I thought. Then the book grabbed me and would not let me go. I highly recommend this one. This book...this book...ugh. Where do I start. At first, I didn't want to read it. I could not get past the father son thing. I read it because, like a lot of books, sometimes I take the book differently than the reviews. In the beginning I hated this book. I cringed at the dynamic...but then I found myself hiding under my sheets reading it. Partly because the sex scenes were so hot. Also because I was embarrassed to be fanning myself over what should have been seen as a parent relationship. Liam wined to much for me but it was still a good read. As for why I loved the book, mostly the hot dirty talk and HOT sex. How did I get past the parental atmosphere? I pretended it wasn't there. Then I found myself rooting for them. Other than that....it's complicated!
Do You like book Beyond Complicated (2000)?
Great book, great plot and super hot if you get past the again the illusion of a taboo relationship.
