This is a friends-to-lovers contemporary which is a trope I really love. Cass and Burke were totally great together and make a great pair. The book as a whole, however, had problems for me. I got sick and tired of the cartoon villain ex-boyfriend right away. He was filled to the brim with crazypants drama and it never entertained me one iota. Also, Burke's vague "i can't let myself love you" commitment phobia didn't make much sense and just left me frustrated. I really enjoy Dee Tenorio's Rancho De Cielo books but this one's not a fave. This has been on my bookreader for sometime now at ngayon ko lang binasa.... Bakit?? :))) I totally enjoyed reading this one. If you know me, I'm a sucker for friends-to-lovers stories. And this one didn't disappoint. I love how they are as bestfriends and how Cass didn't back down when she realizes she loves Burke. I love how she knew that he loves her (they were bestfriends after all) and wala yung pareho silang hindi alam ano sila sa isa't isa. I think it was breathe of fresh air yung ganung takbo ng story. And fun sila together :).. I'm definitely reading more from this author :)
