Again... I loved going inside Tony's head.I am so glad I get to read his POV.Tony's is a very mysterious character. A lot of the good and bad things he does throughout the books are always questionable.I wondered a lot of if he was being sincere, or if he was acting.I was always put on edge by his actions.These short POVs truly answer a lot of doubt and questions I had about Anthony.He does admit how screwed up he is and at the same time he truly tries to redeem himself.The book Truth was truly a game changer.I started to fall in love with Tony from this book.It didn't matter what Tony had done in the past.It didn't matter how fucked up he was.I think a lot of readers just fell for him.Tony is definitely a character I will never forget. He's definitely not your typical alpha male with issues. I was worried that these alternate POV books were just some ploy that authors sometimes use to milk a series to the point it's all shriveled up and gone (offering no extra substance, and just recapping the same story)/ That was not the case with these books. Even though this book is dealing with the same events... it felt like a completely different book. There was no repetition and it kept me interested from start to finish. Plus, I learned some insight that helped shed a little light on why things happened the way they did. Even if I don't agree with the choices Tony made... you at least know where he's coming from. I would definitely recommend these companion pieces.
