I downloaded this book a while ago but haven't got round to reading it until now. I had kind of drifted away from the whole fantasy/paranormal/young adult stuff but decided I needed a change and started to read this. Once you get through the ridiculousness at the beginning its a good. The beginning was a bit too over the top for me. The fact that she could see visions is fair enough, but then you have the transformation of Tessa becoming a werewolf. It all just happens too quickly in my opinion. Like I said when you get past the weirdness of the beginning it is a good book. The series definitely captures you and drags you into the life of Tessa becoming a werewolf. I have even gone on to read the other books in this series. I like the fact that she doesn't just accept that she is a werewolf and tries to fight it and run away. Tessa has always been know as 'Freaky Tessa' because of her visions and has only ever had her family to rely on, but throughout this you get to see you bond with other people like her and finally have some friends. Its nice to see her grow as a person with the support of her new friends.There is also a Vampire attack and witches a g in this book, so all sorts of supernatural stuff going on but if that's what you're into then it is a good read and I would definitely recommend it!! Totally addictive!The characters are easily loved, and to be quite honest even the ones that are not as nice are still interesting in a different way.The storyline I think is great, basically a story that has the usual love interest, romance, and of course the fighting. It isn't a hard hitting story I am buying the next book because I wanted to know what happened next but I doubt this will be a best seller. It is just too safe, no real risks or twists as such. That is nice, its nice to get stuck into a book that doesn't make your head hurt too much but still has the ability to get you into the story.
