About book Avoiding Alpha (Alpha Girl) (2014)

This story was not as good as the first. There was a lot of confusion on my part between where the first story ended and this one began. I felt like I had missed something, but all I missed was the fact that the author wanted to retain the emotional turmoil and did not want anything clearly resolved. This is really the only thing that I disliked about the story. Everytime the couple would get on the same page, suddenly one of them would do something stupid. I know teenagers can be reckless and hormonal, but the back and forth was worse than watching someone play with a yo-yo without doing any tricks. Other than that, the rest of the story was very enjoyable. I have to admit that I have come to really admire the MC and honestly am not sure that her "mate" is worthy of her at all. I didn't think that you could get any better than the first book but here it is. My absolute favorite part is when Dastien runs out in the middle of teaching a class because he doesn't know where Tess went. Talk about romantic. Then they have the sweetest scene where they find each other and you can't help but to go AWWWWWWWWW! out loud. Also another amazing part in this book is the forbidden relationship between Donovan and Meridith. Her wolf is trapped inside her and she wont let one of the most powerful wolfs in the world be mated to a non-changing werewolf. But there is the issue of them being true mates so they kinda have to be together. In a good way though. They are totally cute and here I am thinking that Dastien and Tess are enough romance but then Meredith and Donovan come in. Best book ever, period.
