will start off by reviewing (kind of) Seduce.Jack is an asshole. A huge one. The kind that sleeps with a girl and fakes an emergency phone call to get out of ever having to call her again. He sleeps with his assistants and doesn't care if the woman he leaves behind hates him. But he hates his life. AND he has a softer side. He cries at sad tv shows, he curls up with his very adorable and very snippy pet cat. And then he falls in love with Belle. In essence she saves him from his previous love. But can her love be enough or will he go back to old ways? And so Seduce runs into Beautiful Rose and I manage to fall even more in love with this new and improved Jack Falcon.Finally free from the stuff that bound him in London Jack opens his own club and sets out to make his own mark in the world. He meets sexy, damaged Rose through his brother. Soon the two of them fall head over heals even though both of them fight it off like you would not believe.I loved Jack. I loved him in Seduce - even if he was a douche most of the time and I just fell deeper and deeper in love with the more sensitive (and believe it or not) damaged side. He is broken after what happened in London and doesn't feel he deserves love. He treats Rose like she is a princess and wants to protect her and show her just how beautiful she is. He appreciates her spunk but sees through it all to the broken down girl inside. I think if I were asked right now who my favourite book boyfriend was it would be him.On the other side of the love story we have Rose. A very sad, lonely girl forced out into the big bad world. Even with all her problems she does so remarkably well that I admired her through out. She stood up for herself (when biatches encroached) and she didn't let her condition get her down (all the time).It really was a fantastic read.
