Decent! I liked her story but her character drove me nuts. She could really use a little bit more faith in humanity. The dramatic insistence on independence got a little old. But that's not criticism for the author nor the book, that's more my personal attitude toward the protagonist. Now that I've read all four, I'm impressed with how well synchronized these novels were. The authors did a great job tackling such a project. My Mormon Ladies book group is reading a collaborative effort by four Mormon women novelists who are friends. Each has written a stand alone novel about the separate members of The Newport beach Ladies Book Club. Each are in the same time period, and at the same place, but from each of the separate woman's point of view. I think it is an intriguing and, yes,- novel -idea. There is no particular order. I like "Athena" which is about a young, successful woman of Greek descent who is going through a critical time in her life. I am curious to read the others.
Each book in this series was written by a different author. They were all good stories.
