Fantastic Series!Do not make the same mistake that I made! I was thinking that since I had recently read a couple of other authors Fallen Angels books, that I was ready for something different. Well! THIS SERIES BY CYNTHIA EDEN IS THAT SOMETHING DIFFERENT!! It is written so well, with every story having a different angle (or is that angel? Lol), each of which was not what I expected at all!!!! I flew through the books (pun intended) until the last one. I didn’t want to read it because it was THE LAST ONE! But of course I could not stay away too long. After each book I was “oh he is my favorite” and then I would read the next book and say the same thing! I would be very hard pressed to actually pick a favorite, but if I had to I think that Keenan & Nicole were my favorite. Oh but then there is Tanner & Marna. Or Sam & Seline. Or Az & Jade! I think you see my dilemma. Cynthia’s Vampires & Shifters are so different and so unique that each story & series feels so new & fresh. They are definitely not “cookie cutter” paranormals. I love how a lot of the traits and “rules” for her Shifters and Vamps are carried through all of her series. These Fallen are so very hot, and so full of emotions that everything they do is so full of purpose & so intense. You can’t help but fall for these Fallen AND their mates. Each of the books are so very different but similar at the same time. Read this series and you will see & agree with me. You can’t miss with a Cynthia Eden book! I liked this book but I definitely didn't feel that this was the best that Cynthia Eden could have done. However, it is worth reading. This book didn't lack action of any kind but it didn't seem to have a lot of that romantic sizzle that makes Cynthia Eden stories so great. The main characters didn't trust each other for the first three-fourths of the book and you never know for sure that the male lead trusts the female lead even though he has many reasons to trust her, but they fall in love very quickly after their sudden mutual trust occurs. I just didn't find that very believeable and wish that their story had had more romantic moments spread throughout the book instead of just towards the end. In spite of this, I recommend that anyone who likes romance should read Cynthia Eden's book even if they are not big fans of paranormal romance!
