İlk kitabı beğenmiştim. Hatta çok ara vererek okuduğum halde iyi demiştim ama ikinci kitap benden geçerli notu çok zor aldı . Kurgu mu bitmiş kitap mı kötüydü anlayamadım. Ama bir şey eksikti ve ben sıkıldım. E hadi bitsin diye sayfalara baktım. Konu ilk kitaptakiyle aynı ama ilk kitapta daha çok hareket vardı kesinlikle. Anlayamadığım bu çocuğun kehanetteki kişi olduğunu ilk kitapta biz kesinleştirmişken herşeyi ilk kitapta bırakmışken ikinci kitapta hala bu kehanetteki kişi olup olmama mevzusu vardı. Tamam çevredekiler inanamayabilirdi Aaron da inanmıyor kendine inatla. Yoldaşı dediğimiz canımızı cicimiz Camael bile sorguladı kendini. İlk kitapta inanmıştı bu kitapta çelişkiye düştü baştan zaten kitap beni bıraktı. Vilma var ki bu kızın kitaba girmesi heralde en çok beni rahatsız etti. İlk kitapta sevmemiştim bu kızı ben ikinci kitapta da hatırı sayılır bir rolü vardı. Çok karışık kitapla ilgili düşüncelerim bir şekilde tatmin etmedi beni . Beklentim daha farklıydı. Ve kesinlikle ikinci kitap son olmalıydı. Devamı olmamalıydı bu serinin . The Fallen Book 2 (Aerie and Reckoning) was a great sequel. The format of this review is different from the others because I think it would be easier to just list the positive and negative things about the book.The positives:- The pacing of the book was very-well done. Full of non-stop action, it felt like I was watching the battle scenes instead of reading about it. Kudos to Thomas E. Sniegoski for writing such fantastic action scenes.- The introduction of new characters. My favourites were Lorelei and Lehash. They were great addictions to the book.- Camael and Gabriel’s newfound relationship. I just love their interactions. No one could resist Gabriel’s doggy charms, not even a fallen angel. I cried when Camael died, partly because of Gabriel’s reactions but Camael was my second favourite character so it was very sad.- Gabriel. He is the best thing about these books. Seriously, he is just awesome and adorable. I love Gabriel so so much.Now for the negatives:- There were little character development for Aaron and Vilma which was disappointing considering the fact that they are the main characters of this series. I was really looking forward to more character development.- The romance between Aaron and Vilma did not work for me. I felt no chemistry between them. Once again, if they had better character development then their relationship might have been better.- The identity of Aaron’s father. I saw it coming a mile away. Why couldn’t he be a son of a normal fallen angel? I was also hoping for more angst in their relationship. Sadly that did not happen…So yeah, overall, I enjoyed this book even with its flaws and I hope to get my hands on the third and fourth book!
