That was really, really good! This starts out as an on-line sex-buddy story with snippets of real life sneaking into the fantasy. You are well into the story before real life and fantasy life explode together, and wow, it is explosive!!That is what the book is all about very, very hot and sexy scenes but it also keeps the characters real and rounded as people. The story is sweet but it also very, very hot, did I mention that already? Great story that I was able to read in a day. Katherine Hart has come out of a few bad relationships and has turned to an online website where she can explore her more intimate desires safely. She doesn't know that her boss, whom she admires from afar is also on this site after a divorce that left him cold towards women. When Adam asks to take their online relationship to a next level using software that enables them to talk to each other, he discovers by some of Kat's unique sayings that his WildKat is actually his by the book prim and proper Katherine whose office is right across the hall from him. Unfortunately, he and his brother have a policy of NO dipping into the company pool for dating. And still, the closer he gets to Kat, the more he wants to take their relationship off screen and into real life. A business trip to Los Vegas does just that and she discovers that Adam is indeed her Savage. They start a secret relationship but when they get back to the office, it's much harder to keep the secret then they think. Adam is great. Dominant but not over the top. He is willing to allow Kat to play and gives her space to voice her desires in the security that she won't be humiliated. He can be sweet and tender, but is also always protective and prefers the dominant role in the relationship. Katherine is a great character as well. She is willing to take the chance with Adam and explore her more inner desires, willing to open herself up to not only his domination over her but allows herself to open and act on her own thoughts and feelings. I felt the relationship to be real and was able to connect to their thoughts and feelings. Their sexual encounters seemed weren't as "hardcore" as I thought they might be, but was a more subtle, erotic, falling over the precipice in their discovery of each other that made this book really seem to work in my opinion. Fun read!!!
