I liked the book but it needed...more. It didn't need that much sex scenes, there were so much more that could have been developed/explained more. I really wanted to see more of Gina with Gabe, plus Gabe and Matt seemed to have this new relationship, but it wasn't developed at all. Matt's unresolved issues with his father, mother leaving, the town. He believes everyone in down hates him because of his dad. None of that was expanded on. Gina's childhood diagnosis. How her family treats her still. There was a little but not much. Even Gina and Matt's relationship should have been......more. yes they had sex, but what about everything else. He cared but it wasn't shown that much, what about those tender little moments a couple has?More more more....I needed it. I honestly didn't think I was going to like this book but I loved it. Gina is an amazing women trying to help Matt to try and get to know the real him inside while helping Gabe the neighbor kid. She has a kind heart with lots of love and patience in it. Matt a muscular loner basically finds his way into Gina's life after watching her for so long. Gabe a poor innocent kid watching over Gina while she watched over him because of his verbally abusive uncle. This book touched my heart no other book has done that yet.
