Such a sweet prequel to the family I fell in love with throughout the author's Daughters of Boston series! I loved reading about Marcy and Patrick O'Connor's love story, and there were many scenes where I couldn't help but smile. Although it might be fun to read the prequel before the other books in the series, I actually thought it was fun to read after knowing the older O'Connors...almost like a peek into the past! I loved loved loved this book! Not to mention the rogue I was pulling for succeed in the end! There were times while reading this that I was very upset with Marcy. A few times I just wanted to slap her! This has become one of my favorite books! I just loved everything about it. What impacted me the most was Marcy's love for God that lead her future husband to God. I would recommend this book for women, young girls and even men! Will be reading the series!
