About book 100 'Tokoh' Yang Mewarnai Jakarta (2008)
This book uniquely offers invaluable insight of the Jakartans. Wrapped in such a homy dialect of Jakarta, surely this is a kind of entertainment you wouldn't want to miss. I personally bought this book for office purposes (I work in advertising and this kind of book is very, very helpful) and it serves its purpose as inspiration.It is so good it doesn't feel enough. I think this desperately needs a sequel—like 200 more characters—because they haven't cover so many in this one (even 100 is considered quite a lot).To me, this book is a must for every Jakartan or for anybody who wants to understand more about the insider culture of the biggest, most crowded city in Indonesia.PS: too bad it doesn't available in English (but I also doubt if it would be even funny if written in English) Di sampul belakangnya ada gambar nenek-nenek ngomong: "Anak kecil gak boleh baca" kalo ga salah sekitar itu, laaah.. Aduh, padahal gue beli buat bareng-bareng di rumah. Mana adek2 gue masih sd, lagi... Emang ga semua komik buat anak kecil, tapi banyak yang ngira gitu. Buat Mas Benny ama Mas Mice, tolong jangan bikin gambar ato komik yang kemungkinan besar dibaca anak kecil dengan cerita yang "dewasa". Contohnya yang pasangan selingkuh sama mas-mas gila kolor.
