I initially thought the book would recommend what I should do with money like where to invest it. It turns out that investing is just one part. Still, it's a nice overview on how to manage your life and your money. There are lots of references to other materials and could be used as a jumping to dive further into what interests you more. I liked that it tackled living simply, frugality, and also investments, retirement and vacation; the combination of which is something Im also very much looking into. This is a great getting-started manual for handling personal finances. There are tips for all walks of life and a multitude of outside references listed for further learning on any topic.The downside for me is that it's very US-centric -- many of the tax and savings rules are different in Canada -- but I was aware of that when I picked it up and that simply makes it all the more relevant for American readers.
