About book Your Life Without Limits: Living Above Your Circumstances (2012)
Life Without Limits is a book about the man who was born without limbs. But he made his limitations as his assets. Nick Vijucic is a pillar of hope for those who feel life ends when we hit the bottom. This man has surpassed all obstacles of nature. Even without limbs, he is an excellent swimmer, scuba diver, drummer, he is extremely independent physically and financially, he also supports the community by being a motivational speaker and being associated with many philanthropy organizations. I have known about Nick since a few years back actually. Recently we've been looking at compelling characters, and if you want compelling, Nick's humor mixed with his ability to completely sway his readers from his "disabilities" is simply mesmerizing. After surfing through youtube to get to know him better, often the reaction is that people don't even realize that he is missing all 4 limbs and only has small feet at the bottom to get himself around. How he just lives from day to day spreading his positive message of approaching life knowing that it has no limits just makes me wonder, in awe. Just awe. Usually people would pity him for his "disabilities", but I'm so glad that he's shown a different side to this; that he does not feel the need to be bedridden or to be in a wheelchair and to be pitied upon. This story is crafted so beautifully; so dangerously, it will no doubt take your breath away. Because you shouldn't feel sad or disgusted; instead you should want the same determination he has for life and how he approaches situations. With what he has done so far, how much more can we do! Often we need to be put in such circumstances in order to really learn how to appreciate simple things. Delicate, somewhere between heartwarming and heartbreaking, Life Without LImits is something to treasure.
