About book You Were My Crush!...till You Said You Love Me! (2011)
The story was simple and typical Delhi oriented.You won't feel bore while reading it, it has punches and turning points too.Sometimes you may wonder about some of the characters since they may vanish instantly leaving no clue. However there will be no negative impact on the story because of this.I, being a slow reader finished it in 2 days so you may finish it in half or quarter a day. A complete nonsense. It shows how below average people's reading taste is. You cant even call this book as a part of literature. It should be tagged in "penny dread-fulls". Girls go gaga over this author's book because the author is young and cute (yes he is cute)but that doesn't qualify him as a good writer. This book completely lacks conviction in character. No character has a strong evolution and they all struggle with the traits. The Author doesn't know how to make his characters behave, just like a hindi Drama telly.Manoj is not the correct guy for Shaina just because he is 26... he breaks up with her as Shaina cheated on him and next day comes with his parents to her house and the wedding is fixed.....Where does this happen? Why cant Manoj act like Manoj should have acted? stick to one thing?Shaina comes from a traditional family still goes to the hero's house after getting drenched in rain and changes into his tee( which is harldy till her thighs) and gets cozy with him and next moment is crying over kissing him, the very next moment tells Manoj she cheated on him and what not......Good for people who have absolutely no taste of good books and want to spend their life dreaming about falling in love with a porcelain skin girl, make-outs and nothing more.
