What a great second book. I love Lucas and Mia together. Although I have to admit I wanted to strangle Lucas at times during this book. I was so mad at him for letting his ex Jessica stay with him. But then I thought about it. He still ft bad for breaking up with her. He is such a kind and caring person but I understand how Mia felt too. I would have been hurt, insecure, and jealous too. I'm so glad these two worked things out. I can't believe Lucas finally proposed and changed hiding about marriage. I can't wait to read Coco's story next. I hope there is lots of Mia and Lucas in that one CANDI:Yanked is a follow up novella to Frenched which I loved also. I think this series is the perfect summer read! It’s a light, fun, flirty, sexy, hot, VERY HOT read. Mia and Lucas’s story continue 8 months later after leaving France. These two are in my top list of favorite couples. And Mia, OMG Mia, is definitely one of my favorite female characters. I would love to be her IRL BFF!! I love a book that has humor. There were so many LOL moments. Like literally, dying laughing. There was a little drama and one jealous ex girlfriend which I thought was a perfect addition to this book. I mean, who doesn’t love that kind of drama?? The ending, simply perfect. I’m also happy to learn that we will still read about this couple in upcoming books. So in the end, go and buy this series. And be prepared to swoon hard and laugh. Perfect combination!!! Mel, you’re a terrific writer and I look forward to many more books from you!!ANG:I was lucky enough to get my hands on an early copy of Yanked. I sped through it, and did not want it to end. One thing I realized as I was reading it was how much I missed Mia’s character. She is just so damn likable and truly a breath of fresh air in the genre. She is still hilarious, smart, loyal, and gorgeous. And Lucas. He’s still so dreamy and remains one of my favorite book boyfriends ever. He has a momentary hiccup *gasp* but we get past it pretty quickly. I haven’t mentioned the sex scenes yet. They were super hot and sexy which I’ve come to expect from this author. In short, read this book! It’s delicious. You will love it! It was a perfect ending for me, but I still want more. Are you listening, Melanie Harlow? We still want more!
