About book X-Force: Sex And Violence (2010)

Woah! Sex and Violence? They weren't kidding! Loved Wolverine and Domino's dialogue together . . . cough. Plus, the art is stunning. I always find it strange to think that gorey scenes can actually be beautiful, but that's exactly what they are with this fantastic art. Stark, cold, and so utterly detailed my mind just had to stare in ah. Especially when Wolverine loses half his face. And as always, I love a good steamy, and dirty, X-Men hook-up! The only reason I won't immediately sell this book is that the art is so amazing. There really isn't much to the story, but it isn't too bad either. Aside from Domino and the overused Wolverine, there is an appearance from a cheesy old villain from the original Wolverine ongoing series. I expect Marvel to forget that he was killed in this and bring him back in the future. The other X-Force members are brought in at the end, but for no real reason. The Grant Morrison annual that has been reprinted to add to the page count is terrible. Most of Yu's art is well done, but it makes no sense at all. Also, maybe I don't know the Domino character well enough, but she has a different name in this as well. I'm sure there is a reason for this. But to me, it just just points out to me how this character has just been repurposed from one writer to the next in an effort to make her interesting.

Do You like book X-Force: Sex And Violence (2010)?

Four stars because, even though the story was just decent, the artwork is amazing.
