I've read a lot of these 'Master and Slave' type stories and this is by far the BEST. Seven is such a unique character. Bold, brave and unashamed of his body or his feelings. His relationship with Demeteri is so refreshingly sweet, innocent and misguided. Their unexpressed feelings made me root for them, all the while wondering if it was going to be a HEA or not. I was kept up all night reading this, because I just couldn't put it down.An amazing, hot, tantalising read. Sweet, sexy and sincere. One of my new favourites. After reading some of the reviews here I was a little afraid of reading this story. I love a strong lead but know how easy they can be to dislike. It takes some great writing to accomplish making the Demetrie in the first part of this story into the Demetrie at the end. I loved it. I kept expecting to hate the guy because of how I was expecting him to treat Sev but the progression from where they started to where they ended up I thought was perfect. Not really into angst but the little that this story offers was just about perfect as well.
