I picked up this book at a book signing in at St Louis. Her poster kept drawing me to it. I couldn't resist. After I got home I started reading. There is a blog post in the first couple of chapters, and in it it asked about the biggest pet peeves. It matched mine totally. I thought to myself if this book it written with that in mind I know I will be hooked. And that I was. I loved the way it was written and the story. 5 stars for me. DNF. While I found SOME of the banter witty, there wasn't much heat in this story. The way the author portrayed readers of erotica and romance was more than mildly obnoxious. I still don't understand what "smeep" means and I found the H to be annoying and unlikable and downright ANNOYING. There wasn't enough character development, chemistry or smart dialogue to save this one. Returning for refund.
