This is the last book in Elsie and Lizard's WitchLight journey. They both have lots of choices to make before the office cal end and the start of their new lives. The strangest thing about this series is the complete absence of Jennie's husband. He doesn't even have a name. This is particularly weird when we seem the great support Vero and Walter are to each other, as well as Jamie and Nat. Why does Jennie even have a husband at all? Make me curious why the author wrote it that way. ms. Debora Geary does it again! I feel so wonderfully lucky to have found her as an author so I could enjoy these series' and have a read that is not gooey mush, extreme violence or outrageous x-rated love scenes.This book concludes the journey of Lizard and Elsie through their Witchlight programs. little do they know that they have been guiding themselves through what will probably be hardest parts of their journeys. Can Elsie let herself go to be the free spirit that she longs to be without having put herself in danger of being careless? Will lizard finally accept her worth in her herself and believe that what she is offered is what she deserves or will she let it pass by and just wonder about what may have been?Every novel by Debora Geary takes you through a range of emotions and at least once you will find your eyes misting... not necessarily in sadness.... but it does bring true lessons home in such a delightful way while tackling issues that each of us have, one way or another, in ourselves.
