This was a really great story, mostly because of the unique hero. He's an alpha male that isn't human, but there's something endearing in the emotional weakness he has around the heroine. I liked her a lot too because she was strong even when showing her weaknesses. She was no-nonsense and didn't flinch from the tough choices. Overall a really good story, hot sex read, and great paranormal romance. I'll definitely be reading the next one. Satura is a weapon creator looking for her kidnapped mentor. She hires Wilder, a bloodhound shifter, to help her navigate the vampire infested bloodlands. Satira persued Wilder, she was attracted to him and lonely so she went after him. Wilder listened and respected Satira, I loved that about him, he didn't dismiss Satira's thoughts or her strengths. Sex was plentiful, and nothing is hotter then a wild shifter whose sole purpose is to pleasure the heroine.
