I liked reading the background stories of each individual character in this book -- the skeletons they had hidden and the theme of the white snow in the Denver Rockies. It was snow that killed but also snow that symbolized purity in spite of the "sins" of each character. I like how it was the snow that brought all these souls together and covered them all with acceptance. This book was not one I probably would have selected myself. It was given to me by a friend. Although I probably would never reread it, I'm glad that I read it once. It was a nice story. I finished Whiter Than Snow, by Sandra Dallas. It was well written, but not the style I like. The story line begins and then you meet each character, detailing their own story, how they came to Swandyke and then what they do in Swandyke, then back to the main story after meeting all the characters. It was interesting meeting each character in detail, but it took me a few pages or so afterwards to get back into the actual story line.
