Addison just can't help herself, putting herself in the middle of things. Right between a homicide detective and an FBI agent, she wants to prove herself. Yet, whenever Addison is involved, things go to hell pretty quickly. No difference this time when Addison gets involve with high priced escorts, Russian jewels and a killer. Savage encourages her while Nick just wants her to be safe and Addison just wants to be accepted as she is. Addison seriously cracks me up - this was such an entertaining read and I like the small-town, everyone knows your business aspect. I feel for her losing her teaching job (history one at that too!) but you can definitely see how's she's improved her skills (a little bit). The Nick-Addison-Savage triangle was entertaining. And, like before, I really enjoy the secondary characters too. I think Savage's crazy socks was a steal, or perhaps a tribute to, Booth from "Bones" - I mean, he wears crazy socks too! Whatever, it was still a hoot!
Do You like book Whiskey Sour (2013)?
Fun, witty, fairly predictable in the romance department but a good read nonetheless.

Fun read, much like the Stephanie Plum, Janet Evanovich series.
