I really like this book because the author is writing about himself when he was younger and now that he is older the things that he wanted to do when he was younger was so normal to him. Like when he was a kid, he wanted to drive really badly but now he drives to work everyday so its part of his daily life now. The book is really fun to read, you don't get bored easily when reading it. In the book he also write exactly how we feel right now. I was loaned this book from a friend who lives in JB, Malaysia. He probably enjoyed it even more than I did but I really liked it. I loved how Boey blends thinking about childhood as a grown up with strange unique "one off" experiences he remembers. Very funny and heart warming. I hope he writes more books and I'm for sure going to buy this myself as a good way to remember living in South East Asia.
