About book Was Würde Audrey Tun?Leben, Lieben Und Reisen Mit Stil (2009)
This book was a nice little read for a couple rainy weekend days...lots of details about Audrey Hepburn's life that I did not know, which was fun. Much of the specific advice was superficial, unlike Ms. Hepburn herself. Still, the ultimate basic advice that you can do a lot with very little, make even the small things in life special, and keep a positive outlook through even the worst of times is advice that is timeless, just like Audrey herself. Only one warning though: this book will make you want to spend a fortune on designer clothes! Alot of speculation (how many times did I read "we think Audrey would have..") as to where AH would shop, and vacation if she were alive. Sounded like Keogh was drumming up business for rich friends to me. (the at-home checklist) Whatever... The author has a serious, almost disturbing-worship-like, crush on Audrey. In the back of the book she listed some "Very Audrey" people. Then I really had to wonder if the author new who she was writing about, not sure she knows anything about Audrey. This is not the book if you want to know about style, just the same this is not the book if you want to know about Audrey Hepburn. " Very repetitive!
