Initially I had seen Want a while back, but like a lot of my books it just got added to the ever growing TBR pile.I'm so glad I finally got around to digging into it though. One word sticks out in my mind after reading this book. Raw. If you are looking for a sweet, feel good romance, don't look here. If you are looking for something that will grip you and toy with your emotions and leave you wondering what the hell will happen with these two, then you definitely should read Want.Ms. Lawton did an amazing job drawing out the tension between these two. She gives away just enough to keep you pulled in, but not enough for you to get comfortable and assume you know where this story will go. All the way until the last page, I wasn't sure and it drove me nuts--in a good way.Juli has so much potential but also so much turmoil in her life and several times my heart broke for her. Isaac too has his own skeletons and I felt just as much for him.This was definitely a very different read than a lot of other romances I read lately, but very very real, memorable...and yes, raw.Most definitely this book deserves five stars. :) This book has changed me.It was not the most complicated book, or the most passionate one, or the most touching one. However, it existed on a level that was wholly its own. I wanted to read something before I went to sleep and considering it a light read, I started this book. I ended up staying awake and finishing it. I was blown away by the elegance of this book. It changed my perception of love. Truth be told, I was really into bad boys, but reading this book made me realize how stupid I was being. I LOVE DAVE. He took my breath away. I never liked Isaac anyways. This is a book I highly recommend and one every girl should read.
