About book Walking Dead, #15: Deuil & Espoir (2012)

Another day, another dollar? I guess? Except who gives a shit about money when there are zombies? They've finished off the zombies that invaded the Safe-Zone, Carl is in a coma, some of the Safe-Zoners resent Rick and his group for changing things, people are dead all over the place, stupid Abraham cheated on Rosita, and Andrea totally is jonesing for Rick. And Rick? He's convinced that the reason all their past tempts at survival failed so badly is because he was only concerned with the safety of his family, and not with the community. He says now he realizes they can accomplish so much with a larger group of people, and he hopes to still be in the Safe-Zone when Carl is thirty.I was all pumped after the last one because I thought it signaled a change (finally) in the pattern of this story. Unfortunately, I don't think it really did. This issue just felt like more of the same: Rick having a "revelation," thinking they've finally found the answer, and then what comes next is always devastation. The fact that this volume ends with some of the Safe-Zoners getting violent leads me to believe I'm right. Well this volume is very odd and strange! This is volume 15 in The Walking Dead series. This volume is about Rick making the Alexandria Safe-Zone a new and better place but something is wrong, some of the residents don't agree with Rick and don't understand why he's in charge. Nicholas and others in the community have a different approach to the new community getting rid of Rick but Glenn puts this at risk. What will happen with Nicholas and others try and take the community back? Also Rick can't deal with Carl being in a coma but when he wakes up things are looking even worse. Carl can't remember anything at all. Not even that his mum is dead! The main character is Rick Grimes who I thought was really good in this and the storyline with his son Carl is making his character develop a lot more. The secondary character in this is Carl Grimes, who is the son of Rick. I'm really liking his storyline of him getting shot and him being in a coma. His storyline is very intriguing and I love the direction there taking it. In this volume Andrea has a bigger role in this completely. Recently she has become a lot more involved but in is she is more involved and I love that she is now going out with Rick! There is a lot of other characters in the volume. It these are the key characters and plus I love how they gave Nicholas more of a role in this volume!I thought that this volume was one of the less better ones in recent volumes. This volume was more about the character developing and more storyline related then more action. Although it wasn't my favourite volume it was still fast pacing and still very gripping. I hope that the next volumes in the series have a lot more action and still have a good and intriguing storyline like others in the series!-----------------------------------------------------------------------After retreading this volume I am at a torn position. I really did enjoy the volume but I don't think it's a 5 star volume compared to others in the series. I stopped reading after ten or so pages which never happens with me because I wasn't in the mood to read it. The next day I picked it up and I really loved it. Like I said, I really enjoyed it but for me there wasn't enough action it it and plus it was quite boring in places. Nevertheless I loved the ending with Rick and Andrea.

Do You like book Walking Dead, #15: Deuil & Espoir (2012)?

There's not much reading in these volumes anymore. Only took me maybe 15 mins to get through this.
