Powerful indictment of the Italian justice system and a moving personal memoir. I remember the day Knox was freed--I was watching on the internet--and how excited and thrilled I was. I am also proud of Greg Hampikian of the Idaho Innocence Project at Boise State University who analyzed DNA evidence and assisted with Knox's release. I am so glad Amanda Knox has now told us her story in her own words, and I look forward to reading more from her as her life unfolds. I bought and read this book by Amanda Knox after reading Honor Bound by Raffaele Sollecito, and I can immediately see where their problem lie. They are both liars who can't match up their stories. This book doesn't match the version of events told by Knox in testimony, it doesn't match the version of events told by Knox in her spontaneous declarations, and crucially it does not match her alibis version of events.
It is good book but I do not feel so inspiring or feel too much sympathy for her.
