About book Waiting On The Sidelines (2013)

I loved this story, but I didn't necessarily love all the characters. Let's start with Reed. He is completely self-absorbed and he really does not understand how to be in a relationship. He really didn't seem to consider Nolan's needs. Yes, he was sweet at times, but mostly he was an ass! Now, Nolan. She just needed to toughen up a bit. The times when she called people out on their bullshit, I loved her. But, then, she would fall right back into the role of martyr. I really did feel her heartache though. Sometimes being strong for yourself is more important than a bioy. One of my top favorite books and I have read a ton!! Trust me. Beautiful story and amazing writing! If you are a fan of a suspenseful love- one that is slow building and feels genuine than this is the story for you. Perfect amount of friendship to angst to pure love. It was glorious! You will love it if you are a fan of romance. I thought Ginger captured all the amazing elements of the New Adult genre - the believable and passionate love. The angst and conflict. The feelings and attachments yet she maintained the perfect YA feel . It was passionate without feeling dirty and gross. You felt the heat but didn't feel like it was just about attraction or sex, yet their attraction and passion was palpable.Awesome book! Stop what you are doing and read it!
