This book reminded me of a Lifetime movie. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I like the Lifetime channel and occasionally enjoy watching a marathon of movies on a lazy or rainy weekend. Vlad All Over was a SUPER fast and easy read. I liked where it was going until the last third or quarter of the book. The female lead was really annoying me and I was feeling as much frustration as the male lead. I was not really happy with the way it ended and somehow felt cheated. But not everybody agrees with my way of thinking and I can see how somebody would like what the characters had coming to them. Perhaps that's what the author was hoping to accomplish. Because, when I finished the book and my Kindle alerted me to the sequel, I immediately downloaded it and started reading again. Maybe I will get the ending I hoped for afterall. Hated this. The plot was not at all believable...too much manufactured intrigue that was never resolved. Not to mention the fact that he had unprotected sex with her when she said no, which resulted in a pregnancy she never wanted and a relationship she wasn't really interested in either. He permanently altered her life by disregarding her decisions about her own body. That ruined any potential redeemable qualities about this and really disappointed me. I've enjoyed most of Beth's other work, but this offended me and I'll think twice before reading anything else by her.

Gwen could be really annoying and stupid at times, but I still really enjoyed the book.
