Viva Vermont is another great book in the Carter House Girls series. This novel tells a good story as well. This was another great story that gives some good advice for teenage girls. It relates to a lot of readers and their struggles. There were a few unexpected things in this book, but most of it was expected.I did not like how you can guess exactly what will happen next. It is a typical trip that ends up in parties and trying to fix the problem. I wish there could be more plot and could be less cliche. Viva Vermont is a good read. If you like a book that is cliche but still very real, this is a book for you. This is probably my least favorite of Melody Carlson's teen series. They're just so short and frivolous. This one, though, was the worst. I can't believe DJ just let Haley and her friends harass her. The first time they called her a boyfriend stealer, she should have thrown it back in their face. HALEY came back into town and stole DJ's boyfriend. Then Connor broke up with her and started hanging out with DJ and now DJ "stole Haley's boyfriend?" UGH! This whole book irritated me.
