Yet another shallow fall-in-love-with-a-billionaire-ceo book.Alex Damon is a CEO bent on seeking revenge against the Rodales, who he's convinced had a hand in his father's death somehow. Natalie Hall works for Alex's company and is the adopted daughter in a US Senator's family. And she's also goddaughter to Rodale who is her father's biggest campaign contributor. Alex and his right hand man Ethan target Natalie as a mole/spy and are doing everything they can to catch her in the act. Along the way Alex and Natalie somehow fall in love which complicates things tremendously. There's corporate espionage, blackmail, and sex... none of it too remarkable or spectacular to comment on really. I'm not so sure what makes those two a good couple besides their attraction for each other.I'm really getting tired of this shallow crap. Where's the depth to the relationship?I also hated the ending. After the lies and deceit and cruelty surrounding Natalie's adoption, she seemed to have forgiven her family rather quickly. There are also a couple of other things that didn't get resolved...but I guess it's not supposed to really matter in these books... I mean why would she want her job back when she marries a CEO billionaire? She couldn't actually find her job fulfilling in any way, could she? I'd really like a sarcasm font right now. WOW! All I can say is this story was hot sexy and there was a twist at every turn just as you think you can figure out what's going on something changes. I started reading this book and was finished in about 6 hours it is a series and I see it becoming a very intriguing long term relationship. I found my self reading every page of this eBook even the credits as I call them one thing I would like to point out is that Nadia Lee has a way of getting her readers attention and running with it and not letting go. I now have a book that I would read over and over once again. so what are you doing still reading my review? go on go to amazon and buy this book you will not regret it that I can assure you it has romance suspense hot sex (Very Hot might I add) and a happy ending that I never saw coming.
The plot was totally predictable and the writing was okay. Didn't hate it, but was not wowed by it.
